Designed by Amy Caroll, this renovation prioritised the reuse of the structure and materials. Much of the existing fabric was retained, while performance was improved through selective upgrades to windows, insulation, and layout. Reclaimed objects were given new purpose, including bed cradles reclaimed as pantry drawers and a concrete hub cast on site for the bathroom.
The result is a home that reflects creativity and restraint, with thoughtful detailing, strong thermal performance, and very little waste.
